HIS JOURNEY TO THIS BC ELECTION:
Phillip came to British Columbia in 2010 having been invited to speak at a National Conference in Calgary, Alberta. He met and married a local Canadian and has been living in Vancouver since 2011.
He is now the father of a 3 year old Canadian daughter, Sophia, and wishes to ensure that she will have the opportunity to be able to receive a strong education; afford to live and work in British Columbia with minimal financial stress; and be able to successfully survive the predictable large earthquake in BC which will most likely occur during her lifetime.
Phillip has been growing increasingly concerned over the last 6 years that the Government of BC is not focused on its citizens and instead prefers to respond to the needs of the rich and powerful; only pretends to be concerned for our welfare at election times; and is committing future generations to unnecessary debt across a wide range of crown corporations. He is also concerned that the BC Liberals are attempting to prop up some inefficient markets through unnecessary government regulation whilst at the same time allowing other markets such as the real estate industry to run freely out of control, resulting in outcomes which are detrimental to the long term welfare of all BC citizens.
Phillip has announced that he will be standing as our party's candidate in the Vancouver-False Creek electoral district at the May 9th 2017 provincial election. This seat is currently held by a BC Liberal MLA.
